A jury verdict of over $165 million (U.S.) in a shareholder derivative squeeze out case on behalf of Daryl Kollman, individually and as a derivative plaintiff. Kollman v. Cell Tech International Incorporated, et.al., Klamath County Circuit Case No. 02-03774-CV, with Portland, Los Angeles adverse counsel. This is the largest jury verdict in Lane County, Oregon history.
A $1.2 million (U.S.) jury verdict in another minority shareholder squeeze out, breach of contract, and fraud case. Livingston v. Bowser, et. al., Lane County Circuit Court Case No. 16-97-00913.
A judgment after trial to the court in the sum of $1.1 million in favor of Robert and Gloria Jakobitz, an older Midwest couple for fraudulent conveyance and fraud arising out of the sale of their telecommunications business. Jakobitz v. ECI Communications, Inc., et. al., Lane County Circuit Court Case No. 16-01-16960.
A $5 million (U.S.) settlement for breach of contract in a product license case with New York and Portland adverse counsel.
An $800,000.00 settlement in another licensing case involving copyrighted property. Modern Medium v. MetaCreations, Inc., U.S. District Court for the State of Oregon, Case No. 98-6158-TC, with Seattle adverse counsel.
Our firm had the 1st, 4th and 12th largest jury verdicts in Lane County, Oregon in calendar year 1998.
We represented a certified nurse midwife, against two (2) physicians, an independent physician association, and a regional hospital in an health industry anti-trust case involving the denial of hospital privileges and exclusion as a provider from the Oregon Health Plan. We were able to obtain a substantial settlement, and hospital privileges for our client.
A $1.5 million (U.S.) jury verdict for breach of contract and intentional interference with contractual relations case. Camino Palmero West, LLC., v. Cahuenga Ivar Associates, Ltd., et. al., Superior Court of California, Los Angeles County, Case No. 334-740 (Consolidated Cases).
